Nick is a professional baseball player and owner of LeftyCo Baseball Training.

Nick climbed the baseball ladder one level at a time--

• JV to Varsity-Memorial & Lamar High Schools
• Navarro Junior College
• Rice University
• Chicago Cubs/Detroit Tigers

In 2001, as a Junior at Rice University, Nick was drafted by the Chicago Cubs on Day 1 of the Major League Baseball draft. All of Nick’s work and training over the last 10 years had finally paid off. In August of that year, Nick finalized his deal with the Cubs and reported to Mesa, Az., to begin his pro career.

Nick’s journey through virtually every level of baseball
competition is the ultimate example of how a determined, average youth player with a diligent work ethic eventually elevated himself to the ranks of top-prospect in a major league organization.

From a little leaguer with a dream, to a power ace with a fastball in the 90's and the "stuff" to go with it.
